Gaming Monitors

In this category, we have full lists of all the best gaming monitors available. It does not matter if you are looking for the best for consoles, the best 4k HDR or just a cheap monitor. We’ve got you covered!

Monitors have endless specifications, that can be hard to understand when browsing for one. You have to take the resolution, size, color lighting and endless more into consideration, in order to find the best one for you. All of these things can seem overwhelming if you do not know what it all means.

It is also important to be careful since you don’t just have to find the best suit for you, but also your computer. The best and most expensive monitor can be a very poor choice if you do not have the computer to back it up. A good example here is a 4k HDR monitor. They are undoubtedly the best ones, but if you do not have a strong gaming computer it can quickly be a horrible pick. Powerful high-end PC screens, require an equally powerful PC in order to function properly.

Tv or Gaming Monitor?

For consoles, there is also a big question you have to ask yourself. Do you want to play on a large TV for a bigger and more immersive experience, Or do you want a monitor that is specifically tuned for console gaming, for a more competitive and fast performance. Most people tend to prefer a large TV, which can also be amazing. But especially if you play some competitive games like Overwatch or Call of Duty on your console, you may want to reconsider. Console monitors are not only cheaper than TV’s, but they also outperform them on most levels. In most cases, you will actually end up with much better graphics and overall performance. Unless you are willing to spend an enormous amount of money on your TV.

 Competitive or Casual?

This is most likely the question you have to ask yourself when looking at PC gaming monitors. A huge curved 4k HDR widescreen can be tempting, but it will not always be the best pick. Not only are they extremely pricey, but ”smaller” and more competitive targeted monitors are more likely to enhance YOUR performance as a gamer. With low response time and a more compact view of the battlefield, will be very beneficial to a hardcore gamer.

The problem with monitors is that it’s quite expensive if you want a really sweet one. So if you are on a budget, we would strongly recommend you make sure you have a nice mouse, keyboard or even a nice pair of headphones, first. That being said, they still do have a great influence on your gameplay.

But if you are not much for genres like Mobas or first-person shooters. And enjoy games like ‘The Witcher’ or ‘Skyrim’ more than those. Then a huge screen with beautiful graphics will most likely be a better fit for you.
